A book by Louann Brizendine, M.D. Saw it at the book store yesterday. Shocked that there was enough material to even write a book on the topic. Then, as if that weren’t bad enough, found out she wrote a book called “The Female Brain”. “Male” book – 263 pages; “Female” book – 271 pages. Why do we need scientific evidence (as these books tout), when anecdotal evidence is all around us? We all know that men think about two things – sex and sports. You really don’t think those cheerleaders are on the sidelines because the team needs “moral” support, do you? I think it’s safe to assume that if an athlete sees a pretty woman shaking her booty on the sidelines during a game then he is more likely to have a testosterone surge, performing better on the field and hoping to score off the field as well. I just can’t figure out why someone would spend time researching a topic that is so transparent to the rest of us, er, I mean to women, that is.
No need to buy this book. You already have the answers.
Have a great weekend. Will blog to you on Monday.
